We are proud to announce that we are introducing our first LIVE Auction which will also be broadcast via the Internet with the assistance of Proxibid. (www. Proxibid.com) This technology will allow our bidders to see a complete full catalog with pictures, and descriptions as well as allow "pre-bidding" and also LIVE bidding during the Auction from their computer. The Auction Company will have personnel who will be communicating your live Internet bids directly to the Auctioneer during the Auction.

When available, this technology will allow us to broadcast both LIVE video and audio during the live Auction so those bidding on the Internet may see and hear the Auction. (Only Audio is available at present.)

NOTE: If for some reason the "Internet" is NOT functioning properly (down, slow, equipment malfunction, etc.), including, but is not limited to, our broadband connection, routers, laptops, phone connections and/or Proxibid's servers, software, etc., our staff will contact you directly and work with you to receive your bids. At that point, your bids will be handled either by a Dedicated Absentee Bid Representative or by a staff member, with you on the phone while the items you wish to bid on are being sold. It will be at the sole decision of the Auction Company to decide whether your bids will be handled by absentee or phone. Again, this Internet addition to our auction service is very new and we make no promises or guarantees of any kind as to its stability or performance. If you have any questions, concerns or comments, please let us know as soon as possible, so that you will not miss the opportunity to bid on any items you want.

INTERNET BIDDER PRE-CAUTION: Due to the types of items we sell during our collection auctions, Simmons & Company Auctioneers, Inc. will NOT accept an Internet bid for any item which cannot be shipped in standard shipping packaging. This includes oversized, long-handled or overweight items. Simmons & Company Auctioneers, Inc. will not transport, store nor ship any items that fall into these categories. Please contact the Auction Company prior to pre-bidding or bidding live on any item in these categories.

However, Simmons & Company Auctioneers, Inc. is providing Internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to potential bidders who cannot travel to attend the live Auction. Each bidder acknowledges and understands that the service may or may not function correctly the day of the Auction. In no situation shall bidder have any kind of claim against Simmons & Company Auctioneers, Inc., our client, or anyone else if the Internet Service fails to work correctly before the Auction or during the live Auction. Simmons & Company Auctioneers, Inc. will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source.
Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the Proxibid feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours prior to the beginning of the Auction or contact the Auction Company to establish an "Absentee Bid" arrangement. Simmons & Company Auctioneers, Inc. always reserves the right to withdraw, re-catalog, or resubmit items to the Auction.
