I am submitting the following bids for items included in your ________________, 2005 Auction. I understand that all sales are final and all items are sold: " as is, where is" with all faults and without guarantee of any kind; with no warranties as to age, condition, value or authenticity expressed or implied by the Auction Company, Owner (s) or any printed material and that statements made day of auction sale take precedence over all printed materials and other media advertising.
I further understand that the auction company can only furnish me with whatever information is available to them and that I will bid my own judgment. Also I understand that the Auction Company makes no valuations or guarantees when describing items.
I understand and agree that if submitting bids on an overly large number of items, a personal bidding representative may have to be employeed to handle my bids. Please call the auctioneers (or email rilla@simmonsauction.com) to discuss this.
We would appreciate you contacting us by email, phone or mail to confirm your absentee bid. That way you will be assured that we have received and processed your absentee bid in a timely manner. If you have and include your email, we will confirm the receipt of your bid. If you do not hear from us, via email, you should contact us by phone. Thank you.
I also understand that my total bill will include the selling price of the item, the cost of shipping, packing and insurance plus a $3.00 per item handling charge; $5.00 on heavy or bulky items (on items purchased) and any and all applicable handling and processing fees. If you are bidding on items of unusual weight, size, or length, call ahead to check with auctioneers on shipping and handling feasibility. ( If we are selling cast iron, the per item handling charge is $5.00) Absentee Bids on over-sized or extra large, extra heavy or difficult to pack items ( garden tools, showcases, etc.) must be cleared with the auction company prior to bidding. I am providing the following information in order to be registered as an absentee bidder in this auction.(All information is kept strictly private and confidential—for our records only. This information is required by state law) Simmons and Company will execute an absentee bid on behalf of the above named party up to the amount stated in the form below. If the absentee bidder wishes to authorize the Auction Company’s representative to go one bidding increment (or more) beyond the stated bid, please indicate so with a + 1 (plus one), next to the written bid. If not, the absentee bid will not exceed the stated dollar ($) amount. This allows us to bid one more time in the event a bidder on the floor lands on your exact bid. In the event of identical absentee bids, the first bid received will stand. Our bid policy is that bidding starts on the floor, not with your bid. Your absentee bid will be executed as if you were present.
Absentee bidding will be closed one week prior to the auction. Please have your bids in as early as possible so that we will be able to effectively bid for you.
There are no minimum bids, nor bidding increments.
The auction company can occasionally accommodate a limited number of "LIVE" phone bidders, if arrangements are made well in advance of the auction. All absentee and phone bidders must be registered with the Auction Company w/ proper buyer's ID and payment secured for purchases made prior to the execution of ANY type of bid
If a successful bid is made, the bidder’s total bill will include the selling price of the item, plus shipping, handling & insurance and any processing fees. Items will be shipped UPS and professionally packaged by Mail or More. The item or items will be shipped at the convenience of the Auction Company. If you desire US Priority Mail, please indicate.
If unsuccessful, the deposit will be returned as soon as possible. You may call the auction company following the auction to see if your bid was successful. We will contact you if there is any balance due for shipping and handling. Due to our extremely busy schedule, the bidder should allow at least three full weeks for processing and shipment of items.
Write legibly. If we are unable to read your bids, bidder information or signature, no bids will be executed.
